In live play, you can quickly find the chart for the situation you will be in on the next hand and then place it on your knee during play of the hand. Most live venues allow cell phone use as long as you do not enter things into the cell phone during your play of the hand.

When your stack becomes small, 12 big blinds or less, your preflop strategy should be limited to pushing (shove/all-in) or folding.
